Privacy Policy

Spiral ("the app") is a mobile client that lets you connect to your own remote machines over SSH and run command-line AI tools (such as Claude Code) from your phone. This document describes what data the app handles and how.

Data the app collects

None. Spiral does not operate any backend server and does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information to the developer or any third party.

Data stored locally on your device

• SSH connection settings (host, port, username, key path or password) — stored in the OS secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android).
• Chat history and session metadata — stored in a local SQLite database on the device only.
• Attachments you send (images, files) — transmitted directly from your device to the SSH host you configured, over the encrypted SSH channel.

This data never leaves your device except when you explicitly send it to an SSH host that you control.

Device permissions

• Camera / Photos — only used when you attach an image to a chat message.
• Microphone — only used when you tap the voice input button.
• Notifications — used to surface background events (e.g., long-running task completion) if you enable them.
• Network — used only to connect to SSH hosts that you configure yourself.

Third parties

Spiral connects exclusively to the SSH hosts you specify. The app does not embed analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Any AI CLI tool you run on the remote machine (e.g., Claude Code) is subject to that tool's own privacy terms and operates on the remote host, not inside the app.

Children

Spiral is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.

Spiral（以下「本アプリ」）は、ユーザー自身が管理するリモートマシンへSSH接続し、Claude CodeなどのAI CLIツールをスマートフォンから操作できるようにするモバイルクライアントです。本ポリシーでは、本アプリが扱うデータとその取り扱いについて説明します。

本アプリが収集するデータ

ありません。 本アプリは独自のバックエンドサーバーを運用しておらず、個人情報を開発者または第三者に送信・収集・販売することはありません。

端末内にローカル保存されるデータ

• SSH接続設定（ホスト、ポート、ユーザー名、鍵パスまたはパスワード） — OS提供のセキュアストレージ（iOSではKeychain、AndroidではEncryptedSharedPreferences）に保存されます。
• チャット履歴とセッションメタデータ — 端末内のSQLiteデータベースにのみ保存されます。
• 送信した添付ファイル（画像・ファイル） — 端末から、ユーザーが設定したSSHホストへ、SSHの暗号化通信を通じて直接送信されます。

これらのデータは、ユーザー自身が明示的にSSHホストへ送信しない限り、端末の外へ出ることはありません。

端末の権限

• カメラ／写真 — チャットメッセージに画像を添付するときのみ使用します。
• マイク — 音声入力ボタンをタップしたときのみ使用します。
• 通知 — 有効化した場合、長時間タスクの完了などバックグラウンドイベントの通知に使用します。
• ネットワーク — ユーザーが自分で設定したSSHホストへの接続にのみ使用します。

第三者サービス

本アプリはユーザーが指定したSSHホスト以外への接続を行いません。解析・広告・トラッキング用のSDKは組み込まれていません。リモートマシン上で実行されるAI CLIツール（Claude Codeなど）は、当該ツール自身のプライバシー条件に従い、本アプリ内ではなくリモートホスト上で動作します。

子どもの利用について

本アプリは13歳未満を対象としておらず、子どもからの情報を意図的に収集することはありません。

変更について

本ポリシーが変更された場合、このURLに最新版が掲載され、「最終更新日」が更新されます。
